Allegra has helped countless beginners and pro's reach their own personal goals. A highly experienced piano teacher covering all aspects of piano including technique, songwriting theory, improvisation and live performance.

Based on the Gold Coast; Allegra is an internationally-acclaimed Berklee alum with an extensive work history as a teacher and an international performer.

  • Bachelor of Arts (4 year Degree program), Professional Music with

       emphasis in Performance / Contemporary Writing & Production.

       Creative Industries
       2007- 2009

       Conservatorium
       2003 – 2008

  • International Baccalaureate High School studies, majoring in Music

       and Theatre Arts.

       Studied classical harp with Sebastien Lipman; classical voice with
       Shelli Hulcombe and Prof. Scott Harrison.

Work history

 

Allegra's work history includes:

  • Live concerts internationally. 

  • Taught music masterclasses. 

  • Led interactive workshops (for special needs adults and children) and volunteered with minority groups (such as relocated African refugee families in Utah, and marginalised migrant workers in Baja California Sur, Mexico).

  • Core Music Tutor at Berklee College of Music (Berklee Learning Resources Department), Boston MA. 

  • Private lessons for adults and children at The Music Shop, Melrose, MA.

  • Needham Music & Dance School Needham, MA (USA). Taught beginner to advanced levels.

Tours and solo performances

 

Tours include:

Israel, Colombia, Australia, New 

York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Utah, Connecticut.
 

Allegra has performed in numerous notable venues including:

  • Queensland Opera House, Australia.

  • Boston Symphony Hall.

  • Ironhorse Music Festival Amherst. 

  • MA; Ryles Jazz Club, Cambridge.

  • MA; Performing Arts Center, Martha’s Vineyard.

  • Allegra has worked with Grammy-winning artists Paula Cole and Javier Limon and performed at the Boston Symphony Hall and IronHorse Music Festival, among others.

Allegra's teaching approach focuses on helping students find their own inner musician rather than making them something they are not. 

 

An extensive live performance history has culminated in a wealth of experience in the real world which is such a bonus for her students. A powerful performer and effective teacher that gets results.
